Four outstanding Kossuth Prize-winning artists from different musical genres will take the stage at the commemoration of the 101st anniversary of György Cziffra’s birth. On this glorious day, the magic takes place on stage: classical music in an original and unreplicable production of a fusion of folk music, jazz and gypsy music. The evening celebrates György Cziffra and the art of improvisation. The performers create a new world of music in each other’s style, highlighting the diverse possibilities of the genre, as Cziffra himself did with his exceptional improvisational ability, versatility, and openness.
